The opening sequence shows various photographic and painted views and landmarks of Oklahoma superimposed over the New York landscape: Statue of Sioux Indian chief “Touch the Clouds”. Gold pan statue placed on LibertyRoute 66 Western Gateway Arch statue on Manhattan’s main “avenue”. In New York, in the Manhattan area, these are several numbered “avenues” that are interspersed with streets of lesser numbers.
I’ve loved Tulsa King so far
Featured on CBS News Sunday Morning: Episode #45.7 (2022). I actually love everything Taylor Sheridan does, so I knew this would be no different. It’s an entertaining crime series that knows exactly what it wants to be, and you can tell the cast, led by Sylvester Stallone, enjoys all of them.
He thinks he’s getting a hero’s welcome, but instead he’s sent to Tulsa to run things
It’s about a crime boss in New York named Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone) who is released from prison after 25 years. After not feeling the love of his gang like he really should, he starts building his own in Tulsa. Some of it may seem a little silly, but overall it’s a really good show that’s definitely worth watching.

Apparently it’s doing well, because it’s already been renewed for a second season, which is great news! Season 5, Episode 2, “Squid Game” Season 2 and more of the most anticipated new and returning series on TV and streaming.
